hopefully the new house will be organized soon. we still have a TON of things in boxes. steve and i are unpacking bit by bit. i dont know it might take u a year to unpack. ill hopefully post pics soon. i hope to someone from the family at the new house soon. we have a big back porch and a fenced in back yard so u can bring the dogs. its 3 bedrooms 1 and 1/2 bath. anyone wants to come visit let me know. we'll set up the spare room for you.

everyone has been asking about pictures of the house. so i did a video walk through instead.

now i know that i said i wouldnt talk throughout this whole video, but i did.

the wedding...

pictures in this post are going to be from the weekend at mom and dad's house for jer and chars wedding. it was a wonderful weekend. the family was a little high strung, but thats what happens before weddings. it was a very beautiful wedding. everyone had fun and enjoyed the company of friends and family. ok now this post is going to be nothing but the pictures i took. so here it goes. (THESE ARE IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER OBVIOUSLY)

for our birthdays...

so mine and steve's birthdays are really close to one another this year we decided we were gonna go to the 1st race at the new ZMax drag strip in concord nc. it was amazing. the best time ever. as you all know its not the first drag race i've been to, but it was the first NHRA race.

it was a lot of fun. here are some pictures from the day.

the last picture is john force... he has two daughters that also race. they had a tv show called driving force.

that was the last drag race of the evening. i love how you can see the flames shooting out the sides at night. now you have to remeber they are running on nirtomethane gas. i wish the video had sound. you really have to go to a drag race to get the full effect. the sound is intese.

update...

well things have been very busy here in charlotte. i had to start a new blog obviously.

i think everyone knows that i got a promotion at work. im not a commerical manager at autozone. its a great job. i enjoy the new location and the people that i work with. the clients however can be extremly rude. but i guess that just how it goes.

steve's business is boooommmiiinnnggg! hes normally book about a week or more in advance for work. things are finally looking up for us.

the weather here has been HOT!! we broke a record about a week or so ago. the temperature has been in the upper 90's to the 100's. im loving it though.

i cant wait to come home. i coming home for one week at the end of this month. the 28th till the fifth. its just going to be me. im flying in and steve is staying home. it will be nice just to get away from charlotte for a little. not that i want to get away from steve, it will be nice to get back home to charlotte to, when its over.

thats about all thats been going on here in charlotte. its all work and not much play at all. hopefully this summer we'll be able to get out on the lake. Lake Norman here is just soooo wonderful. the first time i stepped in it i thought it was gonna be freezing like eire... but its like freaking bath water. man its wonderful.

i just wanted to keep everyone up to date on things. and possibly show some picuters. some are outdated but thats ok. better late than never.
